(2015) Marianne - French Commemorative Gold Medal - White Shadow Edition - Illustration No.94, Hand Drawn in Graphite on 96lb. Canson Bristol Thick Board sheet stock. Pencils used (5h,4h,h,f,b,3b,5b,6b,8b), Total drawing time, 63 hours. This is the 3rd French/France coin in my coin series and the 14th overall.

Marianne is a Small Round medal of Bronze or Gold commemorating the centennial of the Bank of France (1800-1900). Front side has an inscription around the edge and a depiction of Marianne allegorical Figure for the Republic of France, shown wearing armor and a winged helmet. Created by Louis Louy, 1900. Diameter size 2.625 depth: 0.125

R/: la Confiance et le Travail devant une vallee ou coule un riviere. Attribution au revers a Reynaud, Receveur des Finances. 132.84g. Inscribed on the front around the edge: Centenaire de la Banque de France 1800-1900, on the riverside: Confiane et Travail/Louis Louy.
