1907 French Genius in Armor Illustration No.98 Hand drawn in Graphite on 96lb. Canson Bristol Thick Board sheet stock - Pencils used (6h,4h,2h,h,b,2b,6b) Drawing time: 66 hours. This is the 17th coin in my coin series and the 4th French/France coin in the set.

1907 FURENS GALLIA AUX ARMES MEDAL, Size 63.5mm (2). Bronze. Pierre-Alexandre Morlon, Sc. (1878-1951). Struck by the Monnaie de Paris (Paris Mint). Edge incused BRONZE with Cornucopia mint hallmark. Obverse: bust of French Genius in armor, wearing a Gallic helmet, hair loose in tresses, summoning for war. She is armed with sword and shield and advances in spite of a shower of arrows from above. Signed below sword: A. MORLON. Reverse: ornate cartouche/scrolled banner (inscribed/awarded) at center within a field decorated with oak leaves and branches.
